Please help us celebrate National Public Health Week by joining us on April 7, 2014 for an informational forum on public health data collected and available through the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH).
Attendees will hear from several programs across DPH that maintain important databases and information management systems in the areas of infectious disease, chronic disease,
hospitalizations, maternal and child health and environmental health.
Topics of discussion will cover many data systems, including:
• Acute Care Hospital Inpatient Discharge Data (HIDD)
• Cancer Surveillance and Epidemiology (SEER Data Management System)
• Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS)
• Connecticut Immunization Registry and Tracking System (CIRTS)
REGISTRATION: Please send names of registrants, organization you represent, and contact information to
firstname.lastname@example.org. Please indicate you
are registering for “Data Day.”
The event is hosted by the Connecticut Department of Public Health, as part of the DPH Lead Public Health informational forum series.
