Reduce cancer risk through education and prevention strategies including tobacco cessation, healthy lifestyle promotion, HPV vaccination, environmental health awareness, and community-based interventions that address the root causes of cancer risk factors.
Increase early diagnosis through expanded access to evidence-based screening programs for breast, colorectal, lung, and cervical cancers. Support outreach, patient navigation, and education efforts that help residents access timely preventive care.
Improve access to high-quality cancer treatment by promoting coordinated care, patient navigation, supportive services, and participation in clinical trials. Support efforts that reduce barriers to treatment and advance innovative, evidence-based cancer care.
Enhance quality of life for cancer survivors through survivorship care planning, psychosocial support, wellness programs, palliative care, and resources that address the long-term physical, emotional, and financial impacts of cancer.
